This is our owner, Mark Way. He began his career in 1973 as a part-time DJ while he was programming computers for corporate America. He retired from the corporate world in 1998, and founded Tekonsix Inc a computer and music entertainment corporation

These days, he does an occasional gig for friends or family, but leaves the full-time work to his franchise DJs. He now manages By Request DJ franchises that operate in Medina and surrounding cities.

DJ Corey (Corey McConnell) is our franchise DJ in Wooster and a bright, young and rising talent. He began his career early as a young high-tech DJ for a local entertainment complex. Here are just some of his skills:

• Great with reading crowds and selecting the appropriate music.
• Technically proficient - he can also give you some computer tips.
• Lighting specialist - Because of his background beginnings, he knows more about lighting and special effects than anyone in our company!
• Contemporary music - Although knowledgeable about all genres of music, Corey is our best DJ when it comes to entertaining the under 25 set.
